This is essentially the same issue as (MCPE-223837) but as it relates to copper chests rather than regular chests. Copper golems find either kind of chest based purely on proximity without regard to navigation or line of sight. This is the same as villagers in Bedrock Edition detecting beds/workstations/bells, but differs from Java Edition villagers (MCPE-50441).
