To help us understand and reproduce the issue, could you please include details about your device and system (RAM, CPU, GPU spec)?
If you’d like you can also run dxdiag and copy the relevant information from there. (Win+R → dxdiag) - be sure to remove any personal information, just the PC specs would be useful.
Also, if you could let us know what the performance was like before this update that might be useful.
Noel, you are experiencing MCPE-179496 . I have removed your screenshots.
Unable to reproduce. In both the UWP and GDK versions, RAM usage is roughly the same when using identical Video settings (see screenshot).
Your screenshot shows only ~1.1 GB of RAM in use, which looks normal to me. In the UWP version, the game exceeds 1 GB of RAM usage within seconds of loading a world, even when using the lowest settings.
If you are certain the UWP version is using more RAM, please provide screenshots showing the RAM usage in the UWP version. Please ensure that both versions are tested with the same Video settings and at the same in-game location.
Additionally, could you clarify what you mean by “load very slow.” Are you referring to the initial game launch, the UI, world loading, or chunk loading? Being as specific as possible will make it easier for Mojang to investigate.
Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.

I’ve noticed that Ram usage is significantly higher with the GDK version.
