While playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows 11 (version 1.21.121), the in-game camera frequently shifts direction without any user input. This issue occurs both in single-player and multiplayer (server) environments. I tried not touching the mouse, and it still happens, often making me look in the opposite direction. This disrupts gameplay and makes navigation difficult. Please fix this bug if it's possible.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows.
Join a world or server.
Play normally.
Observe the camera occasionally shifting direction unexpectedly.
Expected Result: The camera should remain stable unless moved intentionally by the player.
Actual Result: The camera randomly changes position, causing the player to look elsewhere without input.

Does MCPE-230832 describe your issue?
Hi, thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the link you provided doesn’t describe the issue I’m experiencing.
In my case, the camera randomly shifts position even when I’m not touching the mouse. This started happening after the latest update, and it makes the game unplayable. It’s not related to the mouse cursor moving in the background, which the linked issue describes.
I’m having this issue as well, the camera snaps suddenly whenever I stop moving. It’s been happening since the update at the end of October 😞 nothing seems to be wrong with my mouse in other games.
Is this issue still occurring in the latest version?
If so, could you please tell us if you are using any software at the same time, such as keyboard and mouse macros or input (such as the Logi smooth scrolling feature), recording software, etc?
I have this issue. It started about a week ago. I’ve tried disconnecting all wireless mouse and keyboard, tried just using wired ones. I’ve disconnected xbox controller and removed usb dongle. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled MC. I have Logi options, but smooth scrolling not switched on and have tried without the wireless mouse & keyboard as I said. I’ve also noticed that mobs have been moving erratically since this started. As others have said, it's unplayable.
Thank you for the additional information provided, and for your patience while we actively investigate this bug. We have a new hotfix rolling out today (Minecraft - 1.21.124 (Bedrock)) - while this bug wasn’t called out as a specific fix, please do let us know if the issue is still occurring in this version or not.
For those still hitting this issue, it would be helpful to know if you have more than one device that reports as a mouse (such as a trackpad for example) or any additional equipment connected, such as headsets or other devices that may have ability to influence mouse move/actions.
Yes I have had, but as I’ve tried to express in my original post, I’ve then disconnected all other possible control sources and just ran with a wired mouse and keyboard - no other sources control sources connected. The bug remains.
Unfortunately we haven’t been able to reproduce the issue so far. In order to track this issue, could you please let us know of any additional information that might be contributing to the bug - for example, if you are using a specific piece of software in the background, or if this affects a particular brand of mouse hardware or its associated software.
Also, please note this bug is separate to MCPE-230921 which seems to be caused by scrolling the mouse, and may be made worse by smooth scrolling features.
I have the exact same problem. The camera changes position, even when you are not touching the mouse. Makes the game unplayable. This happened immediately after the latest update yesterday morning.
