When you are split screen with 2 players on consoles (Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch) the item that you're holding is too big comparing the the normal size. The size of the item is the same as no split screen but it is on split screen so the item looks huge.
Also off-hand items don't appear on screen at all in vertical splitscreen.

This bug has been reported to our internal bug tracker for further testing and a fix. It is scheduled to be fixed in one of the future updates (no specific date can be provided).
This really needs to be fixed soon. Because a lot of xbox one edition players will be reluctantly switching to bedrock on xbox one.
I even tried to increase the POV in the hopes to see the map in split screen co-op. But that doesn't help. 😞

It seems they fixed it, at least in horizontal splitscreen. Apparently it was fixed in 1.18.30.
