Flowers in snow pushed by a piston results in the flower being deleted forever

If a flower is occupying the same space as a snow layer, and a piston's arm extends into this block, a snowball drops, but the flower in question does not. Flowers not in snow drop normally.

Confirmed on Windows 10 1.2.8.0.
When a flower without snow is pushed by a piston, the flower drops. When snow is present, the snow drops but the flower doesn't.

This happens to tallgrass/any 2blocks flowers.

Able to place sign/torch on the 2nd height and flower went missing.

Very strange behaviour being noted in 1.4, will research further later.

It appears that placing any non-waterloggable block at the location of the snow deletes the flower. Placing a waterloggable block in the space results in a "flowerlogged" block. Breaking the dirt under a flowerlogged block breaks the block that is covering the flower, and the flower hangs in mid-air until it receives a random tick.
