Flowers can share a space with arbitrary blocks

How to reproduce

  1. Place a flower on grass

  2. Place a snow layer in the same space as the flower

  3. Place any non-full block (e.g. a slab), replacing the snow layer

When some blocks are placed, the flower is simply deleted. Examples: other flowers, full blocks.

When some blocks are placed, the snow is removed and nothing else happens. Examples: mob heads.

The block deletes the flower if it is not waterloggable.

Additionally, breaking the dirt under a flowerlogged block breaks the block that is covering the flower, and the flower hangs in mid-air until it receives a random tick.

Uploaded a video. Found an issue similar to that described here with grass in snow.

This works not only with grass and flowers, but also with mushrooms!

Dude why are you reporting this... This is the most epic bug Ive ever seen xD

Is snow layers being able to cover flowers an intended feature? It's a bit annoying having to manually remove snow from flowers every time it snows.
