I skimmed through every single bug with the word "particle" in it, so this better not be a duplicate.
When a block is broken, placing a block where the particles are will cause them to rapidly vibrate.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a block in a confined space
Break the block
Immediately place a (visually transparent) block in place of the just broken block
Observe
Observed Results:
The block particles rapidly vibrate.
Expected Results:
The block particles should not rapidly vibrate.

Redstone ore particles also behave erratically; to reproduce right click on a block of redstone ore that is in a confined space.
