In the last version, with the 1.10, and also 1.9, the run particles are not present in the game. This is a really important detail and needs to be present in the game.

i'm on an android and in the 1.10 update they changed the particle command. The only one i have been able to get a result is /particle minecraft:totem_particle 121 4 37 . Also the experimental commands use example instead of test. For example /particle minecraft:example_(name of particle,which i no non now because they renamed them) (coordinates).

Fixed in Beta 1.11.0.7 however it is not fixed for 1.10.
