After the version was updated, I entered the game and found that many of the villagers had no occupation, that they occupied beds like other villagers, and I was sure that some of them had jobs in the old version (the number of work blocks was sufficient)

That may be because you have to place new tables(geography, smithing..) according to the number of villagers.
I think it is intended, because the villagers were meant to spawn without a profession.
I understand now, villagers don't properly recognize job sites not even ones that was placed by a player.
@DrownedZombie not really, what OP is saying is that they couldn't recognize job sites even when players placed them.
Maybe, the block are out of village boundary, try to place bed and new bell around workstation block
Is this still an issue in 1.14.30 or later? Villagers and/or job blocks from versions before 1.12/1.11 or created with Experimental Gameplay features might not have transitioned correctly,

I think villagers spawn without a proffesion once a village spawns.
