When entities land on a block that is being moved up and down by a piston instead of making block textured particles they appear to have the "update" dirt block texture.

It is still possible to reproduce (1.21.30.22):
Create a "redstone clock" - 2 observers facing each other.
Connect a piston to them.
Place the honey block on the piston.
Stand on the honey block and jump on it.
This may take a few tries to reproduce. If jumping doesn't work, try falling on a moving honey block.
