I can't smelt gold ore in the Minecraft update 1.16.58. I reset my device and Minecraft but it won't smelt in any furnace/blast furnace

I must echo this complaint. I have several furnaces and blast furnaces. None of them will smelt gold. I have tried for 3 days at different times thinking it was lag. So please consider this bug reported.
