This bug has the same underlying cause as MCPE-57431: the game fails to load the vanilla behavior files because it is in the process of installing an update when the player opens a world. One of two things is likely happening:
The game is looking for the files at the new version location where they have not been downloaded/unpacked to yet.
The game is looking for the files at the old version location, which has been removed by the install process.
The root cause of the issue is that on XBox the game can be running and installing an update at the same time.
You can reproduce the reported behaviors by using a behavior pack that has empty .json files.
Steps to reproduce
Create a world, then save & quit.
Activate
on the world.
Open the world.
Expected results
(None, since we are emulating the bugged behavior indirectly.)
Observed results
Player has air bubbles as if underwater, and floats and/or cannot move.
Minecraft started to updated last night while I was in a world. I got out of the game and finished the update but when I went back into the game I found that I am now floating and the air bubbles for when you are under water are now on the screen. I can’t move up or down or do anything else.

It was suggested on Discord that players are losing all their entity components, resulting in the floating situation.
I found that you can manipulate your elevation using water but this can easily make you start floating upwards. Death and sleeping didn't help me at all either.
do you notice tnt will fall through any block when activated, even bedrock, and it wont explode, as well as super slow mining
So I just now have this same problem and I see it's been resolved, but I don't see any directions on how to resolve it.?
World save files are unrelated to this bug since it is caused by the game failing to accessing the vanilla behavior pack.
Reinstalling the game might fix it, if it doesn't fix itself when you fully close the game and reopen. Be sure to back up your worlds/save data before reinstalling.
I encountered the issue described in MCPE-123279, the root cause of which is apparently this defect. Specifically, playing on a Bedrock server (1.19.1.01) and Windows client (1.19.0), located on my PC, I was stuck floating in a survival world when it was raining, only able to move forward/backward/left/right, unable to jump (thus letting me float over water).
I resolved the issue by copying my world directory out of the way, re-installing the Bedrock server ONLY, and copying the world directory into it. I then was able to connect to the world, and it was working normally again.
We are having the same issue this morning. Every world we go into is glitching with us floating up and the bubbles show above the hotbar. Another user this morning said they noticed this after playing the free International Space Station where floating up is a feature to show zero gravity. We own that but haven’t played that in a couple months at least.
