When you place an item or rotate an item in an item frame, a sound does infact play. However, no sound plays when you remove an item from an item frame. The sound file does exist and you can use it in the playsound command. However, it just doesn't play when you remove an item from an item frame.
How to reproduce: Simply remove an item from an item frame and you won't hear anything.

In 1.16.201, a punching sound plays, but the item frame-specific sound does not play.

The problem is not for the survival game mode. The desired sound is played in survival, but not in creative. In the creative, as noted above, the sound of hitting the air is reproduced, which does not correspond to the Java version.

I can confirm for 1.16.100. When removing an item from an item frame, it will play the sound, that plays when hitting in the air, but not the sound, that java has even though the sound does exit on bedrock. Relates to MCPE-53297 and MCPE-43402.
