I experienced unbearable lag that ultimately killed me. Once i respawned, I got kicked and have not been able to log back into the server since. Nobody else can access the realm either.
Every time I try, the attached comes up. I have tried restoring a backup but they fail every time. I tried downloading the world on my Switch but it won't let me so I bought MCPE to download the world. I could rue-load this world but concerned that other players will lose their inventories?
Anybody know any workarounds for being unable to connect to realms like this?

So managed to work around this, in a similar manner to the resolution mentioned in "Realms-1312"
I did save a copy of the realm into a single player world and reset the realm. This instantly made it playable.
However I was concerned about utilising a single player download just incase player data was lost. Thankfully there were still some historic backups available...so I utilise done of those and it worked first time. We all lost a day...but not much progress.
It seems the workaround is to reset the realm before restoring a backup
I was able to workaround the realm issue as the owner but none of the members are able to log in. They just keep getting booted. SO FRUSTRATING!
We've had some issues lately with lag and worlds getting stuck like you describe. We believe this to be fixed now. Are you still experiencing this?
Backup restore issues are at least partially fixed by https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/REALMS-1328
I'm going through this issue now. I can't restore backup or upload a existing world. It won't let me reset either. I keep getting a failed message. Please help, I put so much work into this realm. I can't lose it now...
