Getting the same issue...my realm is unplayable at the moment, even on 85mbps internet with 12ms ping

So managed to work around this, in a similar manner to the resolution mentioned in "Realms-1312"

I did save a copy of the realm into a single player world and reset the realm. This instantly made it playable.

However I was concerned about utilising a single player download just incase player data was lost. Thankfully there were still some historic backups available...so I utilise done of those and it worked first time. We all lost a day...but not much progress.

It seems the workaround is to reset the realm before restoring a backup

What happened to inventories and ender chest contents of other realm members when you reset this way James?!

Literally the first villager out of my breeder was a librarian and the  unlocked book was Mending

i had the same issue with Silk Touch as you’ve had but found one eventually...can just take time!

So further to this again...

I created a new world with the same seed and proceeded to create lots of nether portals.

Every single one worked as they should. It seems this is an issue relating to the importing of a Nintendo Switch Edition world into Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Likewise

Me and my friend were able to play together this weekend when he was connected to the same router as me, but when he tries to connect to my world from his house he cannot connect

So an update to this:

The difference between where the portal should have spawned in the overworld and where it did was X40 Z400

I therefore in the nether placed another portal at X5 Z50 (so X30 Y99 Z250) away from the original portal and that is working fine...but obviously the numbers still do not fit the 1:8 ratio.

I also then went in search of the stronghold on this world and found it at X-1398 Y28 Z-2384

I created a corresponding Nether portal at X-175 Y60 Z-298

This portal in the overworld came out at X-1053 Y71 Z-1793

Now this second example, if you multiply the nether coordinates by 6 you would get:

X-175 Z-298 goes to X-1050 Z-1788, which is unbelievably close to the location where the portal actually spawned!

Can anyone shed some light on this? The nether ratio hasn't change back to 6 has it? I'm on an infinite world so i'd have assumed this should be 8?

In the initial example, if you multiply the nether coordinates by 6, you get X150 Z1200 which is again very close to the location of the portal of X161 Z1200
