Villagers won't spawn in a realm in 1.14, 1.14.1, i tried useing spawn eggs which despawned the villagers as soon as they were spawned. Then i tried going to a village but there were no villagers to be found, there were iron golems and cats but no villagers, i also tried useing spawn eggs in every biome didn't work in any.

how was this resolved? im having the exact same issue on a 1.15.2 realm. we have been to like 20 villagers and none of them have any villagers. we tried curing a zombie villager and as soon as he changed into a villager he despawned right infront of us, same thing happens when we try to spawn 1 in with a spawn egg. just vanishes right infront of us. when we started the realm we found a village straight away and there were no villagers so any help would be appreciated.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. Just a minor update for the devs, this still applies in 1.16.4, with no mods, datapacks, or commands. This was discovered while exploring the world and when attempting to cure a zombie villager. This otherwise matches the original post.
Edit: The realm world was reset and turned from hard mode to easy mode and now there are villagers.
Make sure no command blocks have code like this:
tp @e[type=minecraft:villager] 0 0 0
