Upload gets Error: "We couldn't pack your world file for upload. Maybe your hard drive is full."

i was trying to replace my realm world but it came up with the message "we couldn't pack your world file for upload. maybe your hard drive is full." but i have loads of storage as i only have 3 realms and one world. and idea on how t fix it because i dont want to waist my monet on a realm that i wont play on.

 Same here, I can't replace my realm with any of my local worlds. Tons of free space on my PS4 HD, so I assume the game just can't access any of the systems disk space or something.

The size of the world also doesn't seem to matter either, trying to replace the realm with a 30MB or a 360MB one results in the same message. I can use backups still, but those are only versions of the current realm itself obviously.

As a follow-up, I uploaded all my local worlds to PS Plus online storage, deleted all of them from my PS4 except the one I'm trying to replace my realm with (184.1 MB), and even then, I get the "We couldn't pack your world file for upload. Maybe your hard drive is full?" message. So yeah, definitely seems like a bug. 

OK, so I'm still on v1.16.221 (PS4), and decided to try to upload my local world to my realm again today. The export worked fine, it hung on the upload then said "An Error Occured" (as it always does for me), but it actually worked and my realm was updated. Again, still on the same version, no updates were downloaded, and if anything I have more disk space used up on my system... 🤷‍♂️

The same thing happened to me but on nintendo switch, all I want is to get the money I spent on the Realm back, since I can't use it as I should use it.

Same issue here.  1.18.2.   I have 285GB free space on my drive.  So maybe my "hard drive" ISN'T "full".  

I guess I'll cancel my realms subscription as it's effectively useless for my purposes.

Will this ever get fixed then if it's been an issue since 2 years ago?

On the PS5, I tried to upload to realms. I have great internet, realms plus subscription, and 500+ Gbs of free space. When I attempt to upload a 60- 300 Mb world the "exporting world" status bar almost fills up then states "failed to pack world for export. Maybe your hard drive is full?".   I don't know what is going on. I have tried everything. Prior to the last set of 1.20 bedrock updates, I successfully exported 3 worlds to my PC. I CANCELED my realms subscription.

I contacted PlayStation Game Support via email, and I asked whose problem was the realms bug. PlayStation Game Support said it was Mojang issue, not theirs.  

2023/11/16 exported 250 Mb world on PS5. Don't know why it worked. I exported several of my worlds, and I downloaded them to my PC. It appears Realms are working once again.

I have a 2.6 GB world on xBox and I have been unable to sync to the cloud due to cloud a storage space error.   I decided to buy a realm in the hopes that I could upload the world to a realm, which from what I understand allows for worlds of up to 4GB.  Unfortunately, the initial upload of the world failed with the message in this topic and I am unable to play this world in a realm.
