No I have not, the only action I've performed with them is highlighting them to copy the files and then pasted those files into a separate folder as mentioned.
please ignore textures i was working on a texture pack. also i am using win 8 on a desktop computer.
no mods just vanilla minecraft and i will attach the crash reports and the screenshots i took once im back at my home computer cant do much while im at work.

Thank you so much! Even though it is indeed an incident of accidentally copying files into a folder, the effects it had on my world is still extremely cool nonetheless. Good to know that it wasn't some permanent bug. Much appreciated once again!
