I have had this same issue for 3 years, i've tried clearing storage (did not work), i've tried re-downloading software multiple times (did not work), i've tried restarting (did not work), i've tried signing out of everything involved with the game (still nothing). But it works fine on any other account on my switch. But i dont have online on them so it defeats the whole reason why I want to play.
Yeah I can havent been able to join my friends in 4 weeks. I play switch and my friends I am trying to join play PE
No but it takes forever, I have a max enchant fishing rod and it took me about 13 hours to get 1 mending book. Just be patient, it's random drops so there's never a guarantee.
I find this very weird as well
My switch does that as well and takes forever to even load the game XD
yeah I'm having that issue too, but you can still tap on it for some reason
do u close it when it does that? if yes then let it sit a bit longer mine goes white for a solid minute on the switch then pulls up the mojang loading screen, but all this is after my screen goes black for 5-7 minutes on load up.

This has actually been an issue with nintendo switch since 2018.
I have purged all my downloads and reinstalled the game multiple times, still nothing. If anything it makes it way worse.
Also on startup the game takes anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes to launch and a solid 3 minutes to join a world or create a world.
