Same issue. My current realm has a resource pack that needs updating to the latest version but can't because of the 'upload loop'. Problem noticed after the 1.19.20 release.

After some additional research, I found a bug that suggested limiting my upload speed to 3.5 Mb/s. I did this via an app called NetLimiter and it then resolved my issue. First time I have ever seen an issue caused by my internet being 'too fast' lol

All skins have vanished again today ... they were there yesterday but today everything is back to Alex and Steve. What is the point of spending time creating characters or purchasing skins when they just randomly get deleted?

For the record, I am in New Zealand and it has been happening for me for too long to remember now

Makes perfect sense Jeff. So my question here would be ... if this is the cause of the issue then can Mojang/MS please confirm this and then give us an option to turn off the profanity checker on my invitation only/'private' realm

Thanks Michael. Unfortunately though, adding our 'voices' to those other bug reports doesn't really work as comments are simply removed. Does Microsoft not understand (or care) that we, their customers, are paying for a service here that doesn't appear to work on realms based in Australia. Something that we (to the best of my knowledge) have no control over.

And for the record, and to add further information to this particular bug report, I believe my realm is also Australian based ... so maybe that's the problem???

If this is something that only affects some regions then it's logical to deduce that this has been caused by an administration issue with those affected regions and all of us who have been PAYING for a realm on these servers should be compensated for not getting what we have PAID for.

This is probably also related to not being able to write signs on a realm. Place a sing, write the message, exit editor and the message dissapears. A workaround for both signs and item renaming has been to download the realm locally (in my case to XBox), place sign or rename item, reupload world to realm ... and yes, having to do that is totally stupid.

Same issue on both XBox, Win10, and MCEarth. Customized skin will reset to either Steve or Alex and then has to be recreated. Honestly getting sick and tired of having to recreate what I look like. What is the point of having skins when we can't reliably use them?
