How is this intended? A spectator shouldn't interact with the world at all. The other players should be able to pass the night just fine if everyone not sleeping is in spectator mode. Also, can a spectating player even use beds?
It's fixed in b
The flee, but shouldn't they be able to shoot arrows while running away?
Me neither. What does the "previous output" line in the commandblock say?
Well, now you can't see the pressure plate while holding it in your hand since it's facing down. Even in 3rd person it looks very weird.
The syntax for this command is
/particle <name> <x> <y> <z< <xd> <yd> <zd> <speed> [count] [selector]
the x, y, and z coordinates must be relative if you want the effect to be played relative to you.
change your command to /particle flame ~-2 ~-2 ~-2 2 2 2 5 100 @p
Seems like the bug is that you can actually open the chest through the item frame (from a certain distance).
The item frame is closer to you, you shouldn't be able to open a chest through it, should you?
First, yes, it should be relative to the player/commandblock issueing the comman. I see your, butpoint as Tokes said, you can use relative commands everywhere else, so not having them here seems like an oversight/bug.
Second, the /exec command is great, but it (currently) doesn't allow me to execute the command relative to the commandblock, only relative to entities, so it's not a proper solution to the problem. You could put an immovable entity on top of your commandblock and use that as the origin as a workaround, but it'd really be easier if we could use relative coordinates in selectors. 🙂
I put up a feature request in /r/minecraftsuggestions already though!
I agree with Tokes. Why DON'T relative coords work here? This is a no-brainer, really.
Why not? Seems like that's a bug and they should take relative coords.
Confirmed, and verrrry annoying, please fix ASAP! Gonna revert to 14w08 for now...
Same for jukeboxes that have discs inside them. Interesting that empty jukeboxes look fine.
Can confirm
Can a mod reopen this issue? It is not 100% solved.
To reproduce in 13w07a, I used a comparator to check for the inventory of a hopper. If you toss 1 item into the hopper, the comparator sometimes goes on, sometimes it does NOT. After updating the comparator it will always turn on. Inluded a screenshot for proof.
Confirmed in 13w07a
Very severe case. Especially in dark places. (added 2 screens)
well it's been like 3 months now but here it is:
