This is exactly what was happening to me when I lodged MC-158256.
Very similar profile results (attached my profile results above profile-results-2019-08-03_12.35.16.txt)
I fixed it by lighting up the area around the pillager outpost with torches (which was not fun in the early game...I recommend against outposts in the spawn chunks)
This also explains why the world I've been playing since 2016 doesn't have the issue. Everything is lit up for such a distance that pillager patrols don't spawn.
The same thing also happened when a fox AI started doing something strange (attached as profile-results-2019-08-04_12.58.57.txt)
yeah close it mate.
I can't replicate the issue properly after removing all the enemy mobs by setting the difficulty to peaceful and back to hard.
I would really like to know how to pinpoint lag in the game though...
Seems to be related to mob AI or similar.
Set the difficulty to peaceful and back to hard...stopped the increasing lag issue.
I can't paste it in from a text editor either.
Also, the search is broken. None of the duplicates show when searching for "section sign"
I also think this should be considered a bug. Formatting is available in game, why can't it be used intuitively.
Agreed. They now look terrible in the end cities.
The colour itself is fine, but not in this situation
Did this in a new world (17w16a now), and it's definitely disappeared....but not every single time. In the 10 tests from a new world that I did, it turned up twice...once it appeared from the floor about 15 seconds later, so I'm guessing it teleported to a lower level and item elevated it's way up, and the other time it turned up after the nether was properly responsive again (ie pigmen started moving and it wasn't so jerky to move) about 10 blocks away from the portal.
Steps to reproduce.
Start a new world
create a nether portal and light it.
throw an object through
go through the portal, and the item you threw won't be anywhere.
It doesn't appear to have generated a log since 17w14a.
The log folder in the server folder has nothing created after 08/04/2017, which was the last time I played in 17w14a before upgrading on the 14th (hermitcraft season 5 put us back in the minecraft mood on the 13th)
Maybe thats another bug...17w15a doesn't generate logs. The output window is definitely useless now and displays nothing of interest like player deaths, warnings when the server is under load etc etc.
Getting the same problem with a parrot.
Private server was fine until the parrot we tamed appeared. It didn't follow us or teleport to the main base when originally found in 17w14, so we went back looking for it today after updating. It only teleports within a very small number of chunks...maybe the render distance?
now that it appeared no one can connect to the server without the error every one else is reporting... (we all went looking for it as only one spawned in about 2.5 hours of looking).
I can't attach the client log it seems, but it has lots of this:
[20:05:16] [Client thread/WARN]: Received passengers for unknown entity
and loading 157 achievements all though it
hmmm...I'm facing east. there is only airblocks then void below, and some endstone above. definitely not in creative as per the screenshots. It works as expected in the overworld...
I guess I fogot the most important part. This is running from a local server (ie server is running on a different computer on the local network)
Not sure what else to say. It's repeatable with my config and it could very well be something to do with my save
Updated the steps to reproduce and added screenshots
I've got the same problem with Iron Golems killing zombie pigmen,...attached crash log
I don't believe this is fixed.
Snapshot 15w39c ejects to the same direction that the minecart is heading rather than to the sides as would be expected.
I had the same problem going from 16 chunks whenever the slider bar went beyond 18 chunks.
As soon as I enabled Use VBOs, the crash went away.
Screenshot of issue described. 14W27B
I had this problem on my home server...starting from snapshot 14W11B. It would either kick some or all users off after 30 seconds, or work perfectly fine for days at a time. Restarting the minecraft server jar usually sorted things, but not always.
Players in the nether didn't get disconnected as often...so after trying a bunch of things, it turned out the livestock Tower in the overworld was causing the problem (14x14x40 block tower, with 7 levels of different animals / coloured sheep)
After killing off enough pigs and cows to give 3 stacks of bacon, and 2.5 stacks of beef, the problem disappeared.
This happens in 14W18B as well
This is happening for me in the release version of 1.15.
One thing that seems to help with growing and breeding cool down is preventing the bees from going back to their nests during the day by running around holding flowers in the main hand...they follow that instead of going back to their hive.
It may just be co-incidence.
I'm more concerned by the bees apparent ability to fly through trap doors after trying for a while.
