i tried going on the seed at that coordinates, but i didnt hear any sound. however, yesterday(at the time of posting this comment) i heard something like that in a ravine (seed: 296172290) around 179 13 -179. it sounded like a dragon noise(like you mentioned) but it was like a long screech. i thought it was cave sounds(my volume is usually low) but because you mentioned it here i dont know. it sounded different than usual sounds i heard yet. my version was 1.16.21
this has happened to me since 1.14. it still happens in 1.16. 1.16.20+ now makes me sign in from another device. its really annoying
edit: also it says "a communication error has occurred"
i had to reopen minecraft for me to be able to connect to a cross platform world. i was having a bad internet (and i thought that that was why) but that wasn't the problem. however, i did freeze once when i tried to type, so i don't think that issue has been solved yet
i was so excited when they released 1.16.21 and yes i didnt freeze when closing minecraft but i froze once while typing(unfroze after a while) thanks mojang i thought this would take a long time

i was experiencing this for a few days sometimes the switch would crash after signing in but now it stopped. so many bugs have happened on the switch after 1.16.2 came out(switch freezing, unable to type, having to resign into a microsoft account). i think they changed something or fixed a bug(and maybe because of those piglin brutes) which made the switch have trouble.
if your switch is still frozen, hold the power button for 15 seconds, that will turn it off, and then press the power button again to turn it on. i did this many times when my switch froze just like that.
this is the biggest bug in minecraft. you can hold the power button for 15 seconds to shut down your switch, then press the power button again to turn it on

there has been many reports on this already. this really is the biggest bug in nintendo switch minecraft. also, is your copy physical or digital? mines is physical
i just experienced that problem twice today. for me, i open minecraft, sign in to my account, and then it frezzes. i go to the home menu, to have to do a hard restart. the next time i open minecraft, i'm signed in but it still happens afterwards. it happened twice today. agree with you. its not a hardware problem, its a minecraft problem
so for people who didnt get the update:
check if you're connected to wi-fi
press plus while selecting minecraft on the home menu, then click on software update. click via the internet and if there is any update, install it. if not, check if you already have it. i got the update yesterday so it may take some time for you too. hope this helps
