I attached a video showing it. I have player sounds turned off on the Blue__Guy account and player sounds turned on on the account I'm recording with. You can see that the sound only plays for when other players swap offhand items. (don't mind the watermark I had to decompress the video since it was too big of a size)
Oh, I didn't realize that. I thought it was a bug since the texture had been different in previous snapshots.
The texture was intentionally made to look like that, so it's not a bug. If you dislike it you can suggest for it to be changed here: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us
I've tried multiple times to contact minecraft support regarding my inability to login to my Microsoft account on my ps5. First they referred me to PlayStation, then to Microsoft. PS and MS both said it was a Mojang issue. The only solution offered by the people at minecraft support was to sign in with a different MS account. That's not helpful at all because if I did that I wouldn't be able to access any of the content I've purchased on other platforms. I'm not sure how else to get this addressed at this point
I reported a bug similar to this and it was closed and marked as a duplicate related to this issue. The issue I'm experiencing is different. I'm not able to login with my Microsoft account at all through my PS version of Monecraft. I don't have any other Microsoft accounts I've ever logged in with so there's no way for me to unlink an account. The message I'm getting is that my Microsoft account has already been connected to another PSN account. I only have one ms account and one PSN account.
Every time this happens it also prevents the outside layer of your skin from loading, with each time the glitch happens disabling/enabling it.
I just tested it on a LAN world and I can't hear it at all. You might be right about it being a spigot thing or something like that.
