Mojang Studios Note
Thank you for your patience while we continue to work on addressing the issue raised here. Please be assured we are actively looking into a solution and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
There is a potential workaround for users that are having trouble linking their accounts, which has worked for some:
Close Minecraft for PlayStation
Change your PSN email address to anything else. This is temporary.
Make a note of the email addresses used for reference
Wait 10-15 minutes.
After the above waiting period, change the PSN email back to what it was originally
Wait 10-15 minutes
After the above waiting period, attempt to log in again
Please refer to the section "Why can't I connect accounts?" in the Minecraft For PlayStation® FAQ for more information.
Please do not add any comments to this report unless they clearly contain new and helpful information directly related to reproducing the problem.
Other comments may be removed.
Please do vote for this issue to show that you are also affected.
See the Minecraft for Playstation FAQ and this comment from Mojang for additional information.

Same problem here.
I created a MS account for my daughter, even if I unlink my MS account, game doesn't allow to link with my daughter MS account. System informs I have to use previous MS account. Tried 4 times. Tried even to clean data saved in PS4, not solved.
Is this an ongoing issue for players using the latest version 1.16.200?

I have a friend that is experiencing the same problem for version 1.16.201. We tried different emails in hopes that one of them associates with the username that it was providing, but none of them worked. We also tried re-installing Minecraft, and we didn't have any options to unlink an account. We ran out of ideas here and don't know what more we can do. I'm trying to get my friend to be able to join servers with me.

This is an ongoing issue. Im still unable to link my Primary(Xbox live/Microsoft account) with my Primary(PlayStation account) via the in-game options. I've contacted PlayStation Support and received this response, "Unfortunately It seems that the account has to be unlinked from the account it is currently connected to, at this time we do not have any further troubleshooting steps to provide. If you need further assistance I recommend contacting Mojang support one more time." I contacted Mojang support and received this response, "I see that you are having trouble with the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft. Our support tools are limited and cannot provide technical or account assistance for Microsoft accounts.
To note, Sony has a policy where once you've created a link for the first time between a Playstation and a Microsoft account, it is irreversible. Even though settings says you may have unlinked it, it is still linked to the first Microsoft account.
As this version of Minecraft is handled through the Microsoft Store with your Xbox Live Account, please go to the Xbox Support team at the following link here: https://support.xbox.com/browse/my-account. Another alternative is to visit Microsoft Support at the following link here: https://support.microsoft.com/." And, Xbox Support gave me this response just minutes before posting, "technically we still need to bring this back to the Ps4 support as the only way that we can access an account if that was supported by our resources and those are for Xbox platforms so I hope you will understand our limit on access other in game information as we do have different platforms" As well as, "when it comes to access it on different platform you must need to engage that to the developer as we can troubleshoot the here a game if there is issues with the device but when it comes to in game items like this the only way you were able to associated it to different platforms is by contacting the Mojang."

... same here. I tried to get help, but I was passed around with "we are not responsible for this, X has to do it.".
Nobody seems to feel responsible for this and I'm stuck since bedrock release with no chance to connect correctly to my accounts. Does mean also im not able to join realms, dedicated servers and playing cross platform. I don't understand why this issue isn't fixed, the button to unlink is there, so someone must have thought about implementing it.
But this passing around feels like noone does really care. And that is what makes me feel sad about it. I like to support if I find a bug, but if nobody cares-- for what? Sorry for emotional excursion...

I'm having this issue on 1.16.201.
Somehow my son managed to unlink my Microsoft account and then associate his Microsoft account with my PS4 MC account. I now cannot unlink his Microsoft account from my PS4 MC account and associate my Microsoft account even though it was originally associated with it. I just want my account back to its original state but it seems this isn't possible with this version.
I'm happy to provide additional info to the devs if it helps resolve the issue.

I have now contacted Minecraft Support, Microsoft Support, and Playstation Support they all can't help. How ever Playstation and Microsoft say this is a Minecraft issue.

I have similar situation. As described at https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037725571-Minecraft-for-PlayStation-4-FAQ I have the "Please sign in with your previously connected Microsoft Account" message, but my message does not include the "MyOtherMSAccount" part described on the help page. In other words I get no information about which MS account is already linked.
I can not find any unlink option in MC settings, so unlinking has not even been tried.
I have tried logging in with the two Microsoft accounts that we have, but they both give the same message as mentioned above.

Yes, this is a ongoing issue for 1.16.200 if no one has answered you yet. I am answering the mods question by the way.

It's even a bug in 1.16.220
Yesterday my account got disconnect because of a game crash. Now I get the message "Account already connected".
I've tried to make a new Microsoft account, but even with a complete new account the message is still there.
I can't play with my kids anymore, pay for my realms but can't use them and as far I can see it a long time bug.
So can Mojang Developer gives a update on this issue?
People paying to play, but it doesn't seem to be a problem for you as there is no update coming from you.
Love to hear from you.
Regards,
Robert

I am also having the same issue on PS4. Hopefully they fix it ASAP. I just want to play minecraft with buddies of mine on different systems.

I also have the same issue after miss interperating what I was meant to do when first downloading minecraft for PS4. It asked me to log into a MS account and I could only do it once. Upon googling it and reading as much info as I could I came to the conclusion that only 1 MS can be linked to each PS4 so I linked my sons account to my PS4 profile (as I happened to be the one logged in). Then I realised later on when I set up a PS4 user for him that you actually CAN link more then 1 MS account to the PS4, they are just linked to your PS4 user (first time using PS here!) and now my sons MS account is linked to my PS4 account instead of his PS$ account. I contacted Minecraft support, who asked me to contact microsoft, who sent me back to mojang support who emailed me asking me to join this thread as they are looking into a way to unlink permanatly linked MS accounts to ps4 accounts but they do not have a timeframe when we will be able to do this. so for now I cannot play minecraft on my PS4 and my son has to play using my PS4 account.
Playstation and mojang need to have more information on the PS4 when asking to link an MS account to the Playstation Network that only 1 MS account can be linked to 1 PS4 account at a time, and not make it sound like the whole Ps4 and only 1 account for the whole system.

Still haven't seen any news Mojang!! How hard can it be to give a temporary solution for this?
Just make a hard coded button somewhere in the menu which disconnect/delete all kind of connections to Microsoft and/or others.
Once that's working, then you can find the reason what cause this problem and fix that.
But give us at least an update.
Tell users to log a case, closed it as duplicate is not want we want!
Love to hear from you.
Regards,
Robert

Just voted for the issue. My experience isn't 100% like the original, but is akin to many of the tickets that have been closed as duplicates, and similar to this much older closed ticket MCPE-58464
I also tried the workaround in that ticket and it did nothing for me. Additionally have tried deleting saved data and the game and reinstalling and get the same issue as outlined below every time.
I've never linked my PSN account (and I only have 1) to a Microsoft Account (also only have 1). To my knowledge, Minecraft is the only game that even supports this. Just purchased the game and on first run and attempt to link got "This Microsoft Account is already attached to another PSN ID". Impossible, makes no sense.
Rather frustrating as I have DLC purchased through the marketplace on this Microsoft account on the Switch. I bought the game on PS so I can play with another family member on the Switch. With this issue I can't use my addons and can't do crossplay, please prioritize fixing this gamebreaking issue.

This error only happens to me on 1 Minecraft PE Server. Not in single player.

Do I get a refund for the games I bought for family, to play cross-server, as we've been unable to even once? Isn't that false advertising? Considering they're already raking it in by making you buy the exact same game if you want it on both PC and a console or whatever, this once fun game has probably cost me more than any other, and now just leaves a bitter taste.

That bug has been on mobile too

I reported a bug similar to this and it was closed and marked as a duplicate related to this issue. The issue I'm experiencing is different. I'm not able to login with my Microsoft account at all through my PS version of Monecraft. I don't have any other Microsoft accounts I've ever logged in with so there's no way for me to unlink an account. The message I'm getting is that my Microsoft account has already been connected to another PSN account. I only have one ms account and one PSN account.

Is it possible I can be refunded if I am not able to play due to the bug?

I've tried multiple times to contact minecraft support regarding my inability to login to my Microsoft account on my ps5. First they referred me to PlayStation, then to Microsoft. PS and MS both said it was a Mojang issue. The only solution offered by the people at minecraft support was to sign in with a different MS account. That's not helpful at all because if I did that I wouldn't be able to access any of the content I've purchased on other platforms. I'm not sure how else to get this addressed at this point

Oh cool, I've also been linked here to this ongoing issue. We bought a PS5 for our daughter's birthday, and she has an existing Minecraft account that she's built out like crazy on her iPad. Tried linking them and got the "Oops" message about it being linked to another playstation account already...which is impossible since it's the first time she's every used a Playstation.
Thanks for your patience while we continue to look into this issue. In the meantime, please have a read through the PlayStation FAQ article, and contact support if you wish to discuss your account details specifically. (Please do not include any account details here at the bug tracker.)

That's basically what all people in this thread has done already, Mega_Spud, and subsequently been redirected here, or to other duplicate, bugs by support.

I believe this issue can also be exaggerated by having a family account on Microsoft. Rather than linking to 1 Microsoft Account email, Minecraft on PSN is attempting to link to BOTH emails associated with the MS family account for Minecraft.
Example: Parent email: Parent1(at)outlook.com creates Microsoft account for child: Child1(at)outlook.com under the Microsoft Family Account portal.
This then links the accounts with the Parent being the "organizer" and the child as "member" however, the accounts are tethered. So attempting to link them to something as PSN registers as 2 emails, rather than just 1 unique one.
Creating a new email seems to work (sometimes) so this might help isolate 1 instance of the bug. However, I recognize this doesn't apply for everyone.

@Mega_Spud I hope Mojang fixes the clear account sign in data button in the profile menu, because it's all that stands between me and signing back into my account. I accidentally unlinked it and now the game won't accept the account when I attempt to sign back in.

I recently purchased the game and tried to connect my sons account, and got the same 'opps! looks like that accounts is already linked'. Been bouncing around Mojang, MS and PSN support, and all have been blaming one another. His account was never linked to PSN, only switch and windows. My account is the only other PSN account we have, and I was able to connect that to my own MS account.
Hector - My sons account was created as part of a family account consisting of me as the organiser and him as a member. I was wondering if that was part of the problem. Do you have any additional information on this, or is that just an assumption you have made? I'm also not sure what you mean by creating a new email? Do you mean a new account or a new alias.
FYI - I have tried creating a new alias, and that did not work. I also quickly tried kicking him out of the family but it also had no effect (although I will try that again later as it may not have had a chance to propegate)

I'm having this same issue, only now, BOTH Microsoft accounts I own are affected, and I can't sign in with either. It's ridiculous that Microsoft/Mojang have failed to fix this issue after all this time. I'm going to reach out to support again and link them to this page, because they seemed to misunderstand the issue.

My update to this thread is that me and my kids have given up.
I have attempted to contact all involved parties involved and nobody seems to have any clues - I can't even get a straight answer about who actually controls / stores the info about what ms account is linked to which MS account. Mojang sends me to MS, who sends me to Sony, who sends me back to Mojang.
This issue, and the problems I had getting logins to work on the switch, makes me regret buying the game.

This issue seems to have been going on for over a year now. This is such a terrible system for linking accounts. Why not just allow people to enter their account information manually rather than have this remote connect that is clearly having problems? I have been looking all over for some sort of answer on fixing this and I keep getting sent back to FAQ page for PS4 which has fixes that don't work. It's like they didn't even try the solutions that they posted.

Please pay attention to the text in the yellow box, and not the text of the original issue. The links in the original issue description are wrong and are not the solution to the issue anyways.

So - since there are a number of duplicate bug reports being sent over to this which aren't directly the same a comment about differentiation seems important.
My son is attempting to link a Sony account to an MS account and being presented with the "oops" message, but without the "please sign in to your previous account". We get "Please sign in with a Microsoft Account that is not already linked to an account for 'Playstation Network'"
From my perspective that's important because it's a different error. But is the same as MCPE-156174.
He has previously signed into the Microsoft account on Minecraft on the Switch and on iPads, but not on a PS5.
Linking my MS account (family head) and my daughter's account (on same privacy settings as son) to our unique sony accounts worked without an issue. Neither of us had previously connected our MS account to Minecraft though.
We have not previously owned Minecraft on a Playstation prior to this. He has not played Minecraft on a Playstation prior to this. It is not possible his account is already linked to a Sony account.
One interesting small point of note is that his Xbox activity screen will say "last seen on Minecraft for PS4" after the attempted sign in. Activity log on the Microsoft account shows no access to Minecraft for Playstation prior to August 31st (date we bought it) but is showing activity every day since due to us trying to sign in.
Version number 1.19.22.
More than happy to work with someone to troubleshoot this through if someone wants to reach out and discuss.

I've spent the better part of the last two days trying to figure this out. It's an absolute nightmare. I just want to play Minecraft with my kids. I think Hector may be onto something in the quote below.
My Microsoft account has never been linked to Playstation, and yet when trying to link my playstation acct to my microsoft account via Minecraft it says it's already linked to a different playstation account. Which is impossible as I only have the one playstation account.
Microsoft account details doesn't show any links to playstation. Playstation doesn't show any links to Microsoft. Mojang support says to try XBOX support, XBOX support says to try Playstation support, and Playstation support says to contact Microsoft. Nobody knows wtf is going on and the forms say it's impossible to unlink them anyway. Someone please help. There are so many affected people. Googling around shows this has been a problem since the dawn of mankind, and there has apparently been patches that claim to fix it but don't.
For reference, I have family accounts on both playstation and microsoft. Maybe what Hector said is correct, and in the backend it's trying to link all signed in playstation accounts to all microsoft accounts, and somewhere in the pipeline it craps out and both become unusable. I'm going to create a new post with reference to this to hopefully raise awareness that it is still an issue

Creating a new email seems to work (sometimes) so this might help isolate 1 instance of the bug. However, I recognize this doesn't apply for everyone.

My account broke because I decided to change my PSN name. Then I thought it could that, so I contacted PSN Support what was very friendly to revert my username, but still didn't work. Only workaround that "worked" was to create a new PSN account to play.

Spent weeks trying to figure this out. Exchanged I dont know how many e-mails with Mojang support, and they threw the problem to Microsoft, saying that there's nothing they could do. They just wanted to get rid of the problem. Shameful.
I tried re-installing the application, running it from a PS5, cleaning user data, creating a new Microsoft account, but nothing worked. My son just wants to play his worlds on both the PS4/PS5 and on his Switch. I just want to use the services that were advertised when I bought the game for both platforms. Not asking much, am I?
I'm completely confident that his account was never linked. In fact we created his gamertag minutes before we tried to link for the first time. Never worked. It may have something to do with his account being a family account, linked to my own. But I created a brand new account, as if he was an adult, and still got the same problem. This is ridiculous.

Unlike many others who have reported this issue, it's happening to me while having only one single Microsoft account and one PlayStation Network account. It's an adult account with no "family" connections and always has been. I don't share my PS with anyone else and I have never attempted to connect the accounts with anyone else's.
The first time I opened Minecraft for PS and attempted to link my MSA, it appeared to be successful, but the game hung. I waited an hour before restarting it, but now the game claims to not be linked to a MSA and when attempting to link it again I'm met with an error that says:
Oops! Looks like the Microsoft Account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on "PlayStation Network". Please sign in with a Microsoft Account that is not already linked to an account on "PlayStation Network".

This problem has persisted despite deleting the game and its save data from my PS and reinstalling it. It seems like my account has become defective somehow and cannot be used with PS. Without access to my existing Minecraft profile data, the PS version of the game has become useless to me. 😞

I deleted my Microsoft account a year ago but my game doesn't detect that it was deleted and I get this error
It's your mistake, it's a deleted account and therefore it doesn't exist. When are they going to fix it?

Minecraft crashed with an error message after removing family account management from the playstation. The linked PSN account have been unlinked and when trying to re-establish the link I get the famous message it's already linked to another account, which of course is not the case. An orphaned fragment or a dependency on the family manager may cause that. Very annoying, as on this account quite some money had been spent and I can't access it on the PS anymore. Please fix or lookup the spendings and provide instructions to return the money.

Am having the same issue new PSN account and never linked my minecraft account with a Playstation before.
My minecraft account is just linked with iPad and Nintendo switch and it works fine!

Mistook MCPE-58464 for MCPE-159001 (which linked here).

As a follow-up on the latest comment, the issue is NOT resolved if you actually had another Microsoft account previously linked (and it's the original issue described in this bug report).
I downloaded the game as soon as I got a notification that the issue was resolved and tried to log in to my Microsoft account (not the one I linked a long time ago). Nothing, still the same error.
[media]
This also moaned at me when I tried to setup my son's account on Minecraft Dungeons.
Different game, same Mojang / Microsoft nonsense.
Clearly still not resolved, and everyone reporting it IS new information as this is over 2years and not getting enough traction.
Hiding it and letting things like let's have a new shade of blue wool get more visibility, beacuse it's not good PR are very much letting players and parents down.
If someone wants to act professionally, this should have been resolved in 2020. Clearly if it takes longer than 6-months, it's fundamentally flawed and a new way of doing things should be used instead!
In this day and age when security is all over the place, 2FA and verifications, why this can't be sorted in 5mins... I don't know!

Dear Support team,
I want to reflect on the Mojang Studios Note section:
"To be clear, we are using this bug to track the issue with players attempting to link their Microsoft account for the first time, but are getting the error message that they have already linked."
I am not sure it's a wise decision as there is definitely confusion for users coming to this bug report. The original issue description (which is still present in the problem description section as of March 27, 2023) clearly states that there was another Microsoft account linked previously:
"Account remains connected to previous Microsoft Account after selecting "Unlink Microsoft Account" option in Profile settings. Attempting to connect a different Microsoft account results in the following error message".
Please update the issue description accordingly.
Also, could you please tell me whether the original issue is under investigation? I mean, when users like me actually have another Microsoft account linked to their PSN and they want to unlink it permanently in order to use another Microsoft account?

I believe I have a fix for this issue.
If you happen to come across this bug report or have been following it, please try the following:
Close Minecraft for Playstation.
Change your PSN email address to anything else. This is temporary. Be sure to write it down so you don't lose it.
Wait 10-15 minutes.
After the above waiting period, change the PSN email back to what it was originally.
Wait 10-15 minutes.
After the above waiting period, attempt to log in again.
I've helped two others resolve their issue using this method. Comment if it's helped.

Firstly, I want to thank you for your active efforts to address this issue that many of us are encountering in Minecraft since Bedrock was launched in late 2019. However, I feel compelled to share that the temporary workaround you've proposed doesn't seem to resolve the specific issue that I'm grappling with. Let me shed some light on the situation.
My problem originates from an alternative Microsoft account that I temporarily linked to my PS4 account. I deleted this alternative account following an unsuccessful attempt to make a Realms purchase using a different currency. Acting on advice from Microsoft support, I waited for 90 days until the account was completely removed.
Unfortunately, even after more than 2 years since the deletion of the account, the game still perceives this Microsoft account as active. As a result, I am unable to link any new Microsoft accounts to my primary PS4 account. This issue persists despite multiple attempts at the email address switch workaround that you've suggested.
In line with your proposed workaround, I did change the email of my PSN account temporarily. I carefully adhered to the suggested waiting periods, setting countdowns on my phone to ensure accuracy. After going through the entire process and reverting my email back to its original state, I attempted to login once again. Regrettably, the same issue persists, rendering the workaround ineffective for my particular case.
While I understand that this workaround may be helpful for some users, it doesn't seem to cater to the unique nature of my problem. The game appears to be stuck in a state where it believes the now non-existent Microsoft account is still linked to my PS4 account.
I hope this feedback can assist in refining the solutions you're developing. This problem has been persisting for a significant amount of time and, like many other players, I'm eager to return to a seamless Minecraft experience.
Thanks again for your continued efforts and attention to this matter.

Hey all, this was happening to me, tried everything and what ended up working was manually typing in the url instead of scanning the QR. Would love to know if this works for anyone else. If that doesn’t work try manually typing it into your computer instead of the phone

I experience this issue as well, but in my case it is linked to an account that is not mine. I was in contact with Microsoft today and the support desk forwarded me to Mojang to raise this issue. I live the Netherlands and according the MS Support operator the MS account that is linked to my PSN account is in Turkey.... I see this issue is open for a long time already, hope it gets resolved soon (asking for my son, so he can play with his friends)

I want to say that the resolution of “this is not possible” is not really a resolution. My child created an email address specifically for Minecraft/playstation but of course immediately forgot what the email address and password was so it’s impossible to sign in to the Microsoft account linked to his PlayStation account. We have tried calling Microsoft for recovery as we know the handle but of course they can’t disclose the email address (and even if they did, we don’t know the password). We have called Mojang and they have said contact Microsoft. Microsoft says call Mojang. Then Mojang says it’s Sony’s policy and they can’t do anything about it. Clearly this is causing issues for multiple players which completely breaks the ability to play on a server. Not to mention the purchases are lost that were made on the old account. To further exacerbate, there’s no way to export worlds created on PlayStation other than through realms which can’t be accessed without logging in to the Microsoft account!! Catch 22 and we can’t even burn it all down and start over with new accounts. Please give us a workaround for the situation from the original post of previously linked accounts or at least give us the ability to export worlds on PlayStation!!

@Gujamin :
Here are the steps to copy a world save on PlayStation:
Make sure your BLANK USB stick has been formatted to FAT32
On your PlayStation, go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device > Select Minecraft > Select Saved World to copy > Copy
This should then copy the world save to the USB, which you can share to a file sharing site such as OneDrive, which you can share elsewhere (export)

@Cpsellerr: I'm able to copy the Minecraft files to a USB drive, but they appear as a flat file named gibberish like BedrockWorldIOHUY06b7gY@P3 which Chunker.app doesn't seem to recognize. Even if I copy these files to another user account on the Playstation, it states the files are user-locked to that user so I can't even open the world on another Playstation account.

Turns out my phone was logging into the wrong minecraft.net account. Even when I followed the QR code. Then when I attempted to manually login to my minecraft.net account associated with the correct bedrock account - it said my password was wrong. So I updated it. Got in - and then was able to use the QR code fine. For some reason the QR code login access method was accepting an incorrect login and just defaulted to a different account when attempting to login with it - thus the issue. I know it's janky and confusing but
TL;DR Manually login to the account you need on minecraft.net first. Ensure the usernames match up. THEN try logging in. Worked for me. It's worth a shot and it's a pretty easy thing to troubleshoot.

I have purchased Minecraft Bedrock for PS4, and was unable to link my Microsoft account to my PSN with a popup that stated that my Microsoft account has already been linked to another PSN account.
I have never owned a Playstation before, and have never had a second PSN account, so this was clearly a bug.
I have tried clearing the save data for Minecraft, but the issue remained.
The thing that helped me - was to change the Email address of my PSN account and wait 15 minutes. However, I did not have to change it back to the old one - I decided to keep the new Email address.
After you change the PSN Email address, your PS4/PS5 will automatically log you out of your PSN account, and you will have to login again.
I have once again cleared Minecraft's save data, and launched Minecraft (while I was logged out of PSN because of the email change). Within Minecraft, I saw a button "Sign in to PSN" in place of the "Sign in to Microsoft" button. I clicked on that button, and proceeded to log in to my PSN account with the new email from within Minecraft.
After successfully logging into PSN, Minecraft immediately asked me whether I'd like to log in to a Microsoft account, which I did - and this time it actually worked.

Hi! This has not solved my issue at all and I’m getting annoyed. I’ve changed my email address for PSN multiple times, deleted Minecraft and redownloaded, signed out then in to PSN, etc. Nothing is working! It’s wanting me to sign in to an account I don’t even have anymore! It’s deleted. Now I can’t sign in to play with my friends. Can you please fix this?? I have contacted Microsoft, Sony, and Mojang separately and they all pointed me towards each other instead of actually helping me. This makes me not want to play.

I have tried all of the tricks on this form, Including changing the email on my PSN account. It is still saying I have a Microsoft account connected. I agree that this is making me not want to play Minecraft. Mircosoft and PlayStation state they cannot help. Please help us fix this bug.

Why has this issue not being sorted yet, this issue had been happening for 4 years but yet Mojang has not fixed this bug

One thing I have noticed, I get the EXACT SAME issue, completely identical when trying to play "Grounded" on the PS5. I am wondering if there is a problem with the account linking process between PSN and Microsoft accounts, particularly when the username on the PS5 account has been previously changed. After making this observation, I also wonder if it is the case that Mojang will be unable to fix this bug as it lies with the accounts themselves.
If I had to take a shot in the dark, I would likely guess that a remnant of the old PSN username is still stored somewhere after changing it, and that creates an issue when trying to link accounts. I am going to attempt to call both sony support, and microsoft support tomorrow and push to get it resolved. but realistically, having Mojang reach out directly to them rather than end users may expedite any required actions.

This bug is currently happening on my PS5 since the update that dropped yesterday.
As soon as it finished installing it logged me out of Microsoft and says I'm still connected when I try to log back in.
It also got rid of all my skins. Sometimes on rebooing the console the skins return, but rarely. Even uninstalling the game still won't allow me to log in.
And I've never used a different user name or email.
As of the 5th September. I tired logging in again and it worked finally. But I still lost all my skins.

Still happening can’t disconnect on PS5

It's been four years..... Do you want people to play your game or not?/

Try not using the QR code and instead manually typing in the microsoft.com/link
somehow this worked for me
