@Cpsellerr: I'm able to copy the Minecraft files to a USB drive, but they appear as a flat file named gibberish like BedrockWorldIOHUY06b7gY@P3 which Chunker.app doesn't seem to recognize. Even if I copy these files to another user account on the Playstation, it states the files are user-locked to that user so I can't even open the world on another Playstation account.
I want to say that the resolution of “this is not possible” is not really a resolution. My child created an email address specifically for Minecraft/playstation but of course immediately forgot what the email address and password was so it’s impossible to sign in to the Microsoft account linked to his PlayStation account. We have tried calling Microsoft for recovery as we know the handle but of course they can’t disclose the email address (and even if they did, we don’t know the password). We have called Mojang and they have said contact Microsoft. Microsoft says call Mojang. Then Mojang says it’s Sony’s policy and they can’t do anything about it. Clearly this is causing issues for multiple players which completely breaks the ability to play on a server. Not to mention the purchases are lost that were made on the old account. To further exacerbate, there’s no way to export worlds created on PlayStation other than through realms which can’t be accessed without logging in to the Microsoft account!! Catch 22 and we can’t even burn it all down and start over with new accounts. Please give us a workaround for the situation from the original post of previously linked accounts or at least give us the ability to export worlds on PlayStation!!
Still an issue in 1.19.73
As said in the original report, this is on an iPad Pro 5th gen, iOS 16.3.1. Happens on servers and local worlds and newly created worlds. Does not happen on an iPad Pro 4th gen with a different account.
Not sure if this is the same issue, but I can’t get a sculk sensor to reliably detect minecart movement period! Sometimes it will detect but usually not and I can’t tell what the difference is or reliably reproduce it
Can confirm a lush cave is not spawning axolotls and a water tank built under stone under y=30 in an old chunk is not spawning glow squid. Also overworld mobs are spawning in ancient cities. 1.19.2
Even switching the top blocks to packed ice doesn’t work (again, this works perfectly in Java, but fails in Bedrock 1.19.2). Attached photo shows how they get “stuck”
@Graylen_M, that does seem to be the case, but odd that ancient cities would work that way rather than the way all other loot chests work in every other structure.
Still an issue in 1.19.2…
Still an issue in 1.19.2
I get why you might want to stop most entities rendering, but there should be an exception for beacons as they should be usable as a reference point to find your base while exploring and it’s super odd that you could have the effects of the beacon and be right on top of it and still not be able to see it! Especially given the increased world height, it’s very odd that you could build a beacon inside a mountain but never be able to see the light coming out of the mountain or build it on top of the mountain and be able to see the structure but not the beam.
Appears to still be an issue in 1.19.2
1.19.2 is playable again! Thank you! Not sure if it’s quite up to par with 1.18, but at least it isn’t painfully slow anymore.
This seems to be able to be addressed by moving the slime farm down in flat worlds to below y = 0 starting with 1.18.
Same! It’s nearly unplayable with the lag!! Did someone leave debugging code on? I’d totally revert if I could. Also biomes seem to be off. My old mountain isn’t spawning goats and water no longer freezes.
Affects 1.19
Happening for me too. V1.18.31 iOS version. Can’t find a single axolotl in the wild but a couple captured in a previous version are where I left them.
Having the same issue. I read somewhere the strider had to travel on 50 source blocks, so ran a strider around on a lake under my base and it didn’t work. Another source seemed to indicate that it had to be a distance of 50 meters, so going to try making a tunnel of lava manually to see if it works.
Affects 1.17.32
Not sure why this is closed as “cannot reproduce”. This is happening to me in Java 1.20 when the bushes are planted on mud.
