This is happening in 1.20.4 for me. No need to jump, either- just stand on a trapdoor over the eggs, and they break after a few seconds.

Honestly, I like the look of this. It's cute, like the fox really wants to get to the chicken but can't quite bring itself to get close enough. I know this is technically an AI issue, but why not leave it in? Though maybe without the jumping; I suppose that could cause problems with foxes getting over fences.

Existing chunks aren't modified with old features because that would potentially delete something a player had built there. 1.18 was an exception because they could add things only below the bedrock, where nobody can build. If you want new worldgen in an old world, you can use an NBT editor to delete chunks of your world, which will be re-generated with new features. 

My farmers aren't restocking. They restocked fine while they were leveling up, but when they got to diamond level, they stopped. And it's not just that I moved their workstation (although I am having a problem where, if their workstation is broken, they'll never pick a new one), they just stop. I tinkered with them in a testing world. Farmer villagers that had never had their workstations moved restocked fine until they hit diamond level, then stopped. My fletcher and my cleric are working fine, thankfully. 

It started in 22w19, and is now continuing in 1.19 pre-1. 

@phonia you can most definitely summon a village in the week 18 snapshot. I summoned several. /place structure village_taiga pulled this one up. 

 

This does appear to be similar to things that have already been reported. Generalized wonky path generations. I'll see if there's a feature for me to somehow attach the reports together. 

You can run them over an activator rail to dump them out of the cart. I'm not sure there's any way to fix this, except by making their hitboxes arbitrarily smaller. 

@phonia animals don't despawn. Otherwise animal farming wouldn't be viable. 

"Fixing" this would render skeleton horses almost completely useless, since they wouldn't be able to be ridden during the day. It would also make getting them much harder, since they'd probably burn up while trying to kill the skeletons. And it doesn't fix any problems; it's not as though skeleton horses are common, or aggressive. I get that it makes logical sense, but it's not a good change. 

Unless horse armor prevents them from burning while remaining unbreakable, and skeleton horses spawn with armor on. Which could be cool, I guess. 

Isn't it supposed to fly to the top of the portal and die? So the XP all falls around the portal and not off into the void somewhere.

Are you sure they haven't just swum up from a cave? 

I'm also having this problem. Please remove the extra yeast from the End, it's risen too much. 

 

(Though I do agree that it could be cool to keep it somewhat, and just fix the portals.)

 

Also, can anyone confirm that End cities are still present as normal? A friend and I are playing in this snapshot and would like elytra.
