Can confirm. This also appears to affect the outer end islands, which results in many end cities being cut off by the world height limit.
[media]For all those who think this is cool, this is achievable via data packs by modifying the generation height of the end.
this isent the bug the bug is that the end portal doesn't spawn at the right Hight, the terrain is something we needed for a long time and would be a nice backbone for an end update so in my opinion don't remove the Hight just move the pillars and the spawn up
or if this doesn't work just fix the main island and keep the outer end this way I would love that it would be well needed variation for the end
I found this bug too and the pillars were inside and in this version... The dragon also seems to be bugging too
Honestly, take this terrain gen away from the main island and it could work as its own End biome, call it End Cliffs or such.
Can confirm, but the bug seems to be that the terrain is generating too tall. The pillars are spawning but are inside the island
