What a silly bug, can confirm  tested today 12/24/21 windows 10

I actually noticed this today in my survival world. Scaffolds treat Y= 0 as a solid block at any x and z coordinate. simple fix, its an oversight from changing world height. This is prolly just because Y=0 was bedrock before and the game thinks it still is bottom of world. not sure the reason but I am sure they will fix it.

How I tested, I stood at bottom of deepslate cave and stacked scaffold towers until taller than Y=0

break bottom scaffold, and watch they stop falling at Y=0 and you have to climb to break the higher stack.

Confirmed 12/24/2021

This still happens to me windows 10.  I suspect it has something to do with flash memory because I have the game stored on SSD.

Wym your end portal moved? It was already activated?

Hello can you screenshot this?

Yeah I agree I am having all my villagers disappear in windows 10. It happens when I save and quit and rejoin or when it crashes. It has also been crashing excessively while saving. This is a new problem that came with 1.18.

Can I please send you my world for you to look at. My horses, villagers, pandas, minecarts, and pets are all disappearing and there's no real rhyme or reason. I have the world file on my desktop ready to send where do I submit?

Reply from @unknown: what you are experiencing is tracked at MCPE-144208 and we would love to have a copy of your world save. You may attach it to that report , or if it is larger than 10 MB upload it to a file sharing site like onedrive, googledrive, mediafire, etc., and put the download link in a comment on the report.

I have a minecraft world about the same size doing the exact same thing. I had this world get the same size and then blue screen crash and then become corrupted. I had to rebuild from an early copy but the same exact things are happening to my mobs and named animals. Villagers disappear and then the villagers that remain repopulate and half my village is baby villagers.... I lose all my high level villager trades. This is a serious issue I don't wanna lose my villagers all the time. It happens inconsistently.

Random 1.18 world generation is coming through the "seams" of the world. Trees appearing floating and random mountain blocks appearing in places that there was nothing before. Ice spikes appearing in middle of swamps. It's a mess. The release was nice and you guys did a great job but if yall could please look into this issue it's kinda of weird and ruined my world once already.

I was wondering why my woodland explorer map took me almost 9000 blocks through the most annoying terrain I have ever seen. River land river land river land mansion on river covered in vines. would not have been so bad if I didn't bring my horse. had to make it a boat and pull it and get it out like 10000x just for it to fall in snow and die on the way back taking a "shortcut" The new world generation is broken and they are talking about the next update... my head hurts.

they took old size worlds out of the game because new update would break them.

I was actually surprised this works. I agree this creates a balance problem. Although I feel like java speed runners "cheat" already anyway. (no offense, I still love watching)  They use hitboxes and debug menus and go above the nether. it's broken. Well, I think it's broken but there's a lot of broken things in this game and I think it (Minecraft) being a sandbox makes it up to you how to play. So if you feel the bed method is boring then, maybe just kill the dragon vanilla and post your run? Nothing stopping anyone from doing anything in this awesome sandbox game.

This is still happening in experimental gameplay bedrock edition.

I found this because I searched. I have experienced that this is not a bug and is working as intended, because there are areas in my world that there IS deepslate below y 0 but in a lot of areas there is very little deepslate. I have a feeling these are "deep dark" areas that are not generating , and the placeholder block is stone... because there is no diorite or andesite.. or granite. just stone, ores, and deepslate ores.... without the deepslate.
