To add insult to injury, when I play on my little sister’s server (run from her ipad app) half of the time when I open my inventory, the Emotes feature will appear for up to a full minute before the actual inventory window does. Maybe it is due to some connection issues or something, I have no idea, but what I do know is that my inventory had always opened straight way, before the Nether update was enforced.
Unfortunately the feature has also affects the overall gameplay as well. Affecting gameplay is not some thing that a simple aesthetic feature, should do. Mobs will attack me while I am waiting for my inventory to open up, or after I close my inventory. I am not use to having to hit escape immediately after I exit my inventory. I expect to be ready to swing a sword at a spider, the very moment my inventory window closes, however the Emotes feature causes me to hesitate and take damage before I can remember how to escape from it.
The first time that I experienced the Emote feature, after closing my inventory, I was panicky, and I began to mash every button on my keyboard as I tried to close out of it. Not the best introduction to a minor feature.
Having same exact problem! Why does it say this issue is solved when it clearly is not? At least now I know that my ipad isn't broken.
The verson is actually v1.14.30. For some reason the form refuses to acknowledge the version’s existence and wouldn’t let me submit my issue until I typed a version it would. Very frustrating.
This issue isn’t resolved at all
Yet I can still find wild colorful fish? How is that the case?
Very interesting! Thank you for the detailed message! I’ll be sure to tell you if anything has changed!
The colorful tropical fish can only be found in the wild and can not be spawned by creative spawn eggs. All fish spawned by spawn eggs will be common (a color/white). Colorful tropical fish consisting of two colors (other than having white as the second color) are VERY RARE. You have to put forth a lot of effort into finding them in order to acquire them but once you do it’s incredibly satisfying. First you need to hunt for a large coral reef, then you need to search every inch of it, sometimes having to go over areas again and again. This process can take hours or even days in real play time. I suggest you go around killing the common fish because other fish will spawn to take their place. You will probably end up killing millions of fish just to see if a rare one has spawned. Once you find a rare one, I suggest you catch it in a bucket and continue searching in that general area. Rare fish tend to spawn in the same small area of the reef so don’t travel far! You then need to keep killing the common fish and hope more rare ones show up. If done correctly you can get dozens of brightly colored rare fish to catch in buckets! I’ve spent days doing this technique and I have caught hundreds of rare colorful tropical fish by being patient and determined. You can do the same.
It is not an issue! The the colorful fish are STILL in the game. You just have to work long and hard to find them in the wild. They are RARE fish that you have to put EFFORT into finding in the wild. I have built massive tanks just to keep all the rare colored fish I have found. If doing actual work to acquire something you want is an ‘issue’ to you, then I don’t know what to tell ya.
I don’t consider it a problem but rather a way to make people work for what they want. I hope only colored/white fish always come out of spawn eggs so that people will go out and hunt for colorful fish, like I do. It’s incredibly rewarding!
I like the idea that you have to go out and put effort into finding fish with two colors instead of being able to spawn them from spawn eggs. I have spent days hunting for two colored fish in the wild and it is totally worth it!

There were many times that I would doubt that the colorful fish even existed in game but that only made it SO MUCH more rewarding when I finally DID find one! I can’t express enough, how much I hope Mojang keep these fish in game and as difficult to find as they currently are! Basically everything that was once rare in the game (like the ender dragon egg) is just handed to effortlessly in creative mode, and that’s sad. I really want these colorful fish to stay special.

What I do is kill off fish that aren’t rare and it causes new fish to respawn and take their place. There’s a chance that the new fish could be a rare one, however you need to find a massive reef and find just the right area where the new fish tend to spawn most often! It’s an insane amount of work but totally worth it! If you switch your game to creative mode, you can stay underwater indefinitely, without drowning. Good luck.
I love that you really have to work hard to find these rare colored fish and I really do hope they are never available with creative spawn eggs. Still, it’s very frustrating to have all your work go to waste when they turm into common fish (a color/white).
This will also happen when saving the game and returning to it. Fish in buckets will often turn to common ones.
Good gosh, I’m an idiot! I just assumed that sharing keybinds wasn’t a thing in Minecraft, since many games on Steam for example, don’t allow it. I also didn’t think to check my settings either. Thank you so much NN Craft XD, you’re a life savior!
