Right clicking a repeater gives it a block update.
So would this apply to redstone ore maybe? Since it gets updates if something touches it.

I can see your point. So then the bug is grass can't be tilled under plants/sign. Should i create a new issue ticket then?
The only problem with "block does not disappear" is that farmland is one pixel sunken in the ground, so the block might appear to be floating, but if that isn't a bug, "grass can't be tilled under it" is a bug.

I do not have any mods installed, just a hd default texture pack
I can still get it to work, make sure you are using the gold block apple.
The only mods I have are REI's minimap and toomanyitems

Are u on peaceful? because player fired arrows don't hurt players on peaceful. Might be a glitch.
