MCPE version 0.12.2 alpha - iOS 8.3 & 9.1 version iPhone 5 & 6 respectively, both show rain falling through blocks on existing maps. Have not tested on a new map yet

Have you tried mining the anvil? I know i have had a similar issue with furnaces. So i mine them. If the furnace was somehow corrupted, l lose it and anything in it, but the issue goes away. If it gives me the furnace upon mining it, and usually the items, I can place the furnace again and use it. In both instances the issue hows away for me. This was on MCPE versions 0.8.x through 0.11.x on iOS devices. Have yet to see it happen in 0.12.x yet.

I can replicate this on iOS 8 for iPhone, MCPE version 0.12.1 alpha and it happens at any block level if there is a solid block overhead in 2 block room. I have not yet tested with transparent block overhead.

I can confirm the that the issue the OP's post described is still happening in version 0.10.4 on iOS (iPhone 5s) - survival mode, single player, non-realms

My point is that I don't believe this should be marked as resolved. The sheep not regrowing wool may have been fixed, but all animals are still attracted to water and stuck at edges of map in spite of supposedly improved AI.

I am running MCPE version 0.8.1 on iOS 6.3.1 and still have all animals hanging out at edges, in water or on ice (Survival mode). They start out being fairly evenly distributed across map when it is newly generated, then after a few days go by, end up in water or on ice at edges of map. If I cull them, I will get some repop inland, but if left undisturbed for a few days, back to the water and ice at the edges they go.

This appears to have been resolved in version 0.8.x for iOS

Confirmed as fixed in version 0.8.1 alpha on Apple iPhone (iOS 6.1.3)

i've found that if I aim the bow at the ground within melee range that it acts like pick tool a couple swings, then resets and acts as an undrawn bow. I can then draw it and shoot it. That sequence has to be repeated each time in order to draw and shoot.
