No longer an issue on the latest version.
Problem is/was solved at some point.

Havent had a lag spike in like a week. Not sure what got changed but im no longer getting insane fps dips. I did update my graphics drivers. but that was AFTER the lag stopped.

I still stand by this comment 17 days later.

I have posted an issue and did the debugging. This is not related to outdated hardware with the pc. Not everyone has windows vista Alex... 😛 Nothing of a technical support issue. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-199032

If your talking about the minecraft story mode series then you are in the wrong area.

Not able to reproduce in 1.16.2 single player

This is working as intended. This was never a feature.

I appreciate you trying to figure this out with me. It makes me and alot of other users unable to play the game most of the time. The game was not ran in renderdoc when getting 8fps l ike i said. I am not using optifine or anything, just the default launcher. My render distance is at 10 or 14 or something, Thats very low! I could do 32 chunks in 1.15. Why is 1.15 not like this but 1.16 is? Its like something got changed when 1.16 got released. In 1.15 i dont ever get this problem. The mass amount of GL_ARRAY_BUFFERS might be causing lag also. I have 4 gigs dedicated to minecraft. When i was getting 8fps only 1.3 gigs of ram was getting used. But considering its an Incorrect API usage error, I think the lag is from all the buffers, the API error though is because you are trying to draw array buffers without a vertex shader to determine the final location.(This is coming from my friend that makes games).

I want you to keep in mind these are lag drops. When im playing normally on these chunk distances i get near 200fps.

Theres nothing else i can provide...

No it doesnt. It shows i have AMD drivers with that version.
What is it supposed to show? I dont have a graphics card, i have an APU so it shows the version number.
This is not an issue on my end. Ive tried every driver version possible.

Your sitting here blaming random GPU numbers that work on other games instead of looking at the Minecraft API.

Theres plenty of stuff there for you to tell this game is mostly unplayable for me. It happens hundreds of times a session.
I dont even know why i try, you will just tell me its my problem like allways.

AMD 15D8:C8 is the identification number for my Graphics. I have an APU not a GPU.
Google it, Its not an error. Its what the Graphical driver gets reckgonized at.
I have a amd ryzen 5 3400g latest drivers.

This is not a AMD driver malfunction at ALL. There is other people with this issue also. I am using the latest AMD drivers.

This is a Minecraft Bug, not a technical support request. I cant do anything to fix this, ive tried every driver version.

Thanks for making my report Invalid once again. Ive provided plenty of information and you throw me off to the community when its clearly an issue with the games API. There NO other game that does this. I am sitting here playing Rage 2 on max settings with no issues. Its not a Driver issue. Its a minecraft API issue.

This is nothing to do with renderdoc. This bug is relevant even without render doc running. That 8fps was captured without render doc running, just by launching minecraft normally. I only used that program to debug for you guys. Last time i reported this you couldnt fix it without some sort of way to trace it.

This bug report is INVALID. Please post a report with detailed information of your F3 screen and why you think its lagging.

Here you go. I dont know how to enable any more information on F3. If you need that please tell me how.

Explains why they fall off when you make the grass block into a "path"

Seriously horrible moderator. Theyre providing more than enough information and your closing them as incomplete. Nice job bud

Instead of helping to resolve an issue moderators are marking this as incomplete and throwing away the post.

A lot of people are having FPS issues dropping to 0-3 FPS after the 1.16 update and nothing is being done about it. At a certain point you wonder if its a problem with your code and not us.

There are no steps to "reproduce the problem" except installing Minecraft 1.16, the latest update and playing until lag occurs. The only way to alleviate it is minimizing or maximizing the window. Sometimes that doesnt even work and you have to leave and rejoin a map or server to get the lag to go away. This is not a community issue. This is a mojang rendering issue. If you ask me it sounds like you have a massive memory leak in your rendering.

Note: Continuing to update minecraft will just embed this massive bug further. Considering you want to keep improving the game.. Fix this before releasing the next version. People will keep reporting it.........

Added a new picture. Experience it also. Sometimes minimizing the window or maximizing it releives the lag instantly

And the fix is to revert to 1.15. They should know this by now

How can they keep a report like this closed? Its our problem to fix a lag issue with the game now? How am i supposed to fix it? I didnt code the game

Its not just him. I attached how crappy it is for me also.Â
