This is not a duplicate of MC-142114 - that issue encompases quite a few issues, which includes something similar to this one. One report should not encompass multiple issues (based on your own TOS).
That being said. It makes no difference the color of bed - sleeping in any bed results in this issue as of 19w02a (did not happen in 19w01a). This seems to happen on private server as well as 'offline' (private server without online access). This does not happen on private server where multiple people are online and all players sleep at the same time.
Replication steps:
- Create private server (online version) - Have 2 or more players log on - Have 2 or more players sleep (no crash/stuck on leave bed) - Have all but one player leave the server - Attempt to sleep as the only player on the server - See Issue: Stuck on leave bed
CTRL-ALT-DELETE and end task drops the window, or you can just alt-tab and close the window. the game is not frozen, (process is still running) it is just stuck at the sleep phase and will not pass (waited 60 minutes, no change).
Workaround:
Closing the game in some way (CTRL-ALT-DELETE and end task or ATL-TAB and closing the window) allows the game to close (with immediate server disconnection) and restarting the game allows for reconnection (and sleep phase is complete. Meaning it will be day/not storming upon reconnection)
