This also (from what i've seen) affects chests when a players nametag is over it, like if I would be looking down through a players nametag from a chest, then I would see through the chest.

I still don't know how to fix the bug and it is getting really annoying, I've had time where I'm doing stuff in water and a drowned zombie appears out of nowhere and it's terrifying

Ya, i had the same problem but I could not get past the loading screen instead it just kept flashing from the red Mojang screen to a black screen.

Yes, it appears near the hotbar, though sometimes it may appear near the top of the screen.

I can check whether or not it occurs on 1.16.3, however it may take a while because it randomly occurs
