I’m not an expert on how the shaders work, but I think that’s just a limitation of the tech they decided use to implement the reflections (which I’m pretty sure is just a cube map). To my knowledge, they can’t run code to check if there is a ceiling through just shader files alone. But I could be wrong.

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but it seems a side effect of this is a huge amount of lag going down to 5 frames a second.
