I thought that 1.19 was supposed to fix this, but it still happens in 1.19.2 (I am using entity cramming to kill).
This bug has come back in 1.16.1 and later, most obviously viewed on zombies
Should technically be resolved now, you can negate the fov change of speed and soul speed in settings.
One day, I wanted to play Minecraft. After about 10 minutes I went into the inventory, and then I noticed that I could no longer see my hand and what I was holding in it. I couldn't even see the items. I hope you solve this problem.
P.S: I am extremely upset!
Does it happen in default generated worlds?
It seems that the skeleton needs to successfully be able to pathfind to another block in order to properly face its target. When you do not allow the skeleton to do so, it cannot face the correct way while aiming. Confirmed in 1.16 Pre-release 8 with both iron golems and players.
This bug is basically unfixable, however, because rotation is part of mobs' pathfinding. This means that mobs turn to face the direction to which they are pathfinding. This is apparent in the bug where mobs turn around randomly and do 360s, looking for a block to pathfind to, before finding a block and moving there. It would take massive changes in the game's code to be able to fix this bug by separating the rotation and movement packets.
Perhaps give an option in video settings to turn off dynamic FOV for speed and sprinting/flying separately? That would be really useful because I think FOV change for sprinting is necessary to know whether or not you are sprinting.
I believe this is caused by the 20w22a changes in how datapacks affect gameplay.
Could the mods do anything to get the devs attention?
In my survival world, which I started in 1.13 and upgraded to 18w49a (and is now in 19w11b) has no zombie, skeletons and creepers, blaze and wither skeletons spawning. However, all non-hostile mobs and phantoms still spawn. When I copied my survival world and used the /kill @e command, there was still no change. However, when I used the same seed and started a new world, at first the above mobs were not spawning, after I used the /kill @e command, they started appearing normally. This is my situation.
Same ^^
It will be fixed next snapshot
Assign to someone?
In 19w09a I came across a pillager outpost and there were no pillagers
Confirmed for 19w09a.
Can you please explain the assigning process?
Only by reply does it raise awareness of this issue. This is a critical bug and many things depend of it being fixed.
Why hasnt this been assigned to anyone yet?
Can confirm. Having same issue
Yes. The entire End dimension is basically the same except for feature placements and loot chests.
