This issue was marked as a duplicate of another report, which was marked as “working as intented”
This animation cut off is really not intended and doesn’t happen of Java (creating a parity issue), so either this duplicate report or the original one should be reopened and considered again
This absolutely does not seem like intended behavior, as it doesn’t happen on Java and breaks parity. The full attack animation will NEVER play on Bedrock because the exit condition in the Creaking attack animation controllers is wrong.
I think this issue should be reopened, and I have also made a new animation controller for Creakings that will fix this issue:
I can no longer reproduce this bug on the latest preview (1.21.100.20), so it looks like it’s been fixed
As of 1.21.90.26 I am no longer able to reproduce this issue, this report should be resolved as fixed
As of 1.21.90.23 this issue has finally been fixed, as I am no longer able to reproduce it on that version
Here is the issue still happening on 1.21.80.27
The death animation is also now unsmooth and extremely jittery compared to previous versions
This bug was not fixed at all in the 1.21.62 hotfix or the new 1.21.70.25 preview, despite it being stated as fixed in the changelog for both of these
As of 1.21.70.22 this also affects the forwards walking/running animation
Can confirm, the player also rotates when moving backwards which is unintentional. See MCPE-49899
Now would be a good time to fix both of these issues
This bug is also affecting Potions of Harming, if you throw them at undead mobs then they will take damage rather than healing
