I'm guessing this probably also relates to MCPE-180268 (found it through mutually related bug MCPE-179848)
This also affects whether a player gets the Dolphin's Grace effect applied - previously if you entered water with an elytra activated, and went near a dolphin, it would give you Dolphin's Grace.
Now, if you do this, you have to touch the bottom (to deactivate the elytra) in order to get Dolphin's Grace.
This is a big pain for me with a dolphin's grace-based transportation system, because I often enter it from the air, and this bug makes it more fiddly to get going.
also affects walking from a wall towards a chain or end rod - even if said chain / endrod is too high for the player to walk onto (see the attached image - walking towards either the end rod or chain whilst crouching will cause the player to fall off)
[media]Haste 2 does allow you to mine deepslate faster than without it, it just doesn't get fast enough to the point that you can instamine
This is intentional, deepslate is just a tougher block than stone
Not a bug
Can confirm in 1.17
Okay now I'm very confused
I logged into a copy of that world with the same seed, so I could try find it faster in creative, and found the place again, but the fern wasn't there.
I can see how this could seem like I used /setblock, but the above genuinely happened in my world.
Seed is 493833753420856
Co-ords are 3300 63 680
Not sure what other steps are necessary to recreate it, as it seems that simply going to that location in that seed doesn't recreate the issue for me
Also affects v1.16.1
Are you wearing mending armour?
If so, the levels will be split between your held item and any mending armour. If the armour is full health, the xp that would go to the armour instead goes to your xp bar.
This is as intended. This is not a bug.
**If you want to get smooth stone, smelt cobblestone in a furnace, or mine the smooth stone with a pickaxe.
Smooth stone slabs are crafted from three smooth stone in a straight, horizontal line.
This is as intended since the game launched
There are numerous other blocks that drop things other than themselves when not mined with silk touch - including leaves, bookshelves, grass, glass and path blocks to name a few.
Thanks PHO! I didn't perform enough testing to realise that it was only due to the observer, and I'm glad you've deduced that.
Were you told of this 'End Room' by a friend? Because they're trolling you - there is no such thing requiring emerald or gold blocks or an enchanting table.
After that you post becomes very confusing.
Jon is correct, this should be marked as working as intended
(updated with behaviour for barrels, which matches single chests, tested in 1.21.51)
