I just got this same error in ImmutableList.sort(ImmutableList.java:565) twice.
Seed shortcut is "20w21a" - I still use unique worlds for snapshots.
Teleport to these coordinates:

All players: 1 total; [yx['IrthenMagor'/130, l='ServerLevel[20w21a]', x=273.65, y=67.77, z=-476.81]]

This is a very common occurrence for spawn locations in grassy fields, and either the chest spawns one or two layers higher (even when there's no grass underneath), or it spawns on the ground, but then won't spawn the torches when their spots are occupied with grass.

I wonder if it is releated to MC-610

Removing my vote as I cannot reproduce this issue any more - some dust had collected in the sensor recess of the mouse.  This most notably affected movement in Minecraft and was barely noticable elsewhere.  Perhaps Minecraft is my yardstick for mouse sensitivity.

Edit: The effect was definitely present in 19w11a, but it feels like it wears down after moving around in a boat for a couple of seconds.

I just experienced this in 18w46a; I die and when I try to collect my gear I'm killed by an invisible vindicator. Neither is the gear that was dropped on death visible until I exit, launch and reload the savegame.

I've added a screenshot for a T-House in Savanna Hills with its front facade lifted up around 8 blocks, right on the edge of a chunk.

Seed = "1.13.1-pre1" Coordinates 777, 83, -242, facing east.

Release equals seed "1.13.1-pre1".

Savannah Hills implies slopes and have a good chance of having villages nearby.

It looks like something's broken in world generation.

I created two new worlds in SinglePlayer.

  • random seed

  • seed = "1.13-pre4"

In both cases MC stops running somewhere during loading the save game.  {screenshots: taskmgr, loading screen}

Loading (a copy of) a save created in pre3 works OK.

Confirmed.  This only affects boat placement.

Workaround: when I place a boat next to water, I can still enter it and steer across the water.

I can confirm I have seen this behaviour. It's not a bug.
Holding torches in the left hand does not prevent you from placing blocks.

When you (partially) occupy an air block, you cannot place blocks, but
instead a torch will be placed.

Work-around: move back a little until the entire space is free.

Workaround:
Copy or link all *.ogg files from the assets/music directory into the assets/sound directory.

The directory contains a warning that it will be cleared during updates. If the next update
fixes the bug, that shouldn't be a problem.
