Isn't it a bug? It didn't crash until 1.16.4
This is not a technical support request, this is a client bug. No one server should crash the Minecraft client, even 3rd party server.
Also affects honey blocks.
Can't reproduce that bug again, but mining animation on block is still not visible.
EDIT: it happened again, looks like it's caused by something other than block breaking
