We have trusted skins only disabled. The skin reset issue happens for us in local split screen but we also started playing in our realm and the same thing started happening. I just want to add that I noticed that when we bring up our inventory screen, our customized skin is visible there on the inventory screen but the character in the game has the default Steve skin. Also, in the upper right corner of the 2nd player’s game screen, the 2nd split screen player’s name is correct but above her head in the game, it says “Steve”.

the other music discs work, just pigstep won't play

I'm experiencing this on the Nintendo Switch, latest Bedrock version. I'm playing a local world, not online or server, just local split screen. We each sign into our own Nintendo Switch profile. The 2nd player joins the game, customizes the skin, we just use the standard options in the skins menu. We haven't purchased any additional skins aside from what's available at start. Then we'll end the game, close everything, start the next day and the 2nd player's skin is completely reset to either basic Steve or Alex. The reset happens every time and the 2nd player has to redo the skin customization every time. I've also tried reinstalling the game, playing offline and online. We haven't been able to prevent the reset from happening. I also tried with trusted skins enabled and disabled, neither made a difference.

Just got Minecraft on the Switch a couple weeks ago and experiencing the same issue, primarily with Player 2 in a local multiplayer game. We save the game and quit but when we start back up, Player 2 signs in and everything is reset for Player 2. Player 1 and Player 2 each have local Switch profiles. Generally, Player 1 retains skin, items and experience, most of the time. Player 2 almost always resets completely except for the spawn location. Sometimes Player 2 retains items but skin is gone every time.

@Avoma While I did include version details from previous versions for context about how I came to the conclusion about the missing iframe, the bug is in combat snapshot 8c, the most recent combat snapshot available. More info here.

@MMK21 While trying to submit the bug at the feedback site for the combat snapshot I discovered that bugs should be directed here at Jira. Is this correct? If not, where do I submit bugs for the combat snapshot?

I know you don't have to do this, but do you have a reason for marking this "Won't Fix?" I'm more than familiar with some bugs just not being worth fixing, but when the problem and solution has been pinpointed by forge developers in the video here, I don't think it can fall in that category.

There's also a rumor that says the villagers won't enter a house if there is anything within 1 block of the door on a house too. I am not sure if it's true or not. But after activating the command that lets you see blocks in their cad like form, it might have some truth to it.

Ran into this problem too
