NOT resolved - can NOT opened my test world at all - it keeps saying disconnected ...
There was no 'crash report' to post just extremely poor performance while exploring - something is wrong with chunk generation/loading that eventually drives game to a standstill unless relaunched.
My apologies - the game itself does not crash, seems stable enough. I set view distance to 16 chunks build a small house and mine for an hour or so for resources - come back to the surface and travel 50-100 blocks and notice flames in what appears to be plains except its not plains it WAS a forest. Been playing this game for years and while random fires do happen the amount of devastation that occurs now is almost surreal - I have restarted new survival games and this seems to be a constant occurrence - ramp[aging fires the take out just about everything. Its like the fire spread variables have been turned up? If I SEE one starting by a lava pool I can put it out but one fire block in a forest will wipe out the forest far more often now than in any point ive noticed in the past.
I can confirm that this bug STILL exists in 1.11 - no ambient cave sounds play at all .... despite subtitles indicating that they should be playing.
I can confirm this in SMP, I had 4 horsemen spawn immediately (close strike) and while fleeing I tripped 4 more 'traps' to have 20 horsemen on me at once. This seems a tad excessive given the fact that this is suppose to be an extremely rare occurrence. The multiple traps occur with every thunderstorm and just about every lightning strike to the point to where I have now collected in the near 50+ skele horses (which is now the dominant species of horse on our server - do not think this is suppose to be the case for an extremely rare occurence)
Apparently this is an ongoing issue reported by many as a searched finds at least three other issues and indicates that they are resolved - its still not resolved.
I have this same issue - no music in 15w45a - was here to report it but was checking for duplicates - seems others have noticed this as well.
This is NOT resolved by a longshot - I keep getting a Connection Closed disconnected on a single player game - are these even test launched a LITTLE before throwing a new snapshot into the wild? Seriously lame to release a snapshot the destroys a previous world irrevocably - i know the disclaimer ... but still - just about EVERY TESTER just lost their world ...
