The despawn is WAI, perhaps. However, this bug highlights the inconsistency in the different sim distances. It does not scale consistently.
This finally seems to have resolved itself, after taking a little over one month. The issue can be resolved, assuming others are not experiencing it.
The skin is still not available.
This is affecting 1.13 as well. I lost an hour of work, really demotivating.

We have the same issue and I believe we were using the Beta Launcher had issue of the program not opening, then uninstalled/reinstalled launcher... How can you tell whether or not your using beta or regular?

Same here as well... we are running Windows 10 64x. Please note that windows recently updated some framework updates. However, we were having this issue before hand. We uninstalled and re-installed launcher as well as Java. Sounds like I'm not the only one having this issue around the same timeline. Thank you for any updates in this regard.
This bug may need to be reopened. According to Slime Finder PE, chunks <-28,56>, <-28,57>, <-29,58>, <-30,58>, and <-31,58>. If you will look at
, you will see that only <-28,56> seems to be generating slime mobs.

My map is completely glitched with this new update my world prohibits me from throwing tridents, firing bows, mobs do not move the way they are supposed to, and when I destroy a block the game doesn’t collect it right.
