The top of the screen in the video is East.

My apologies; I wasn't thinking of the torches being 1 block up, otherwise the zombie spawn would have been on (i think) a light level 8 block.

Thanks for looking at this. Sorry it was a waste of your time.

Ah you know what, one of the villagers I did hit while trying to free them from cobwebs they were stuck in. I bet that was what happened.

If you hit a villager do they stay an enemy in the eyes of the wolfs forever then? It would have been hours of real-time play between hitting the villager and the wolf attacking them.

seems to still be spawning mobs in lit areas in 1.16.0.68. I posted a video in MCPE-84582

Possibly related to MCPE-49616 which was supposedly marked fixed in 1.16.0.55, but appears broken here in 1.16.0.68

Looks like this is a duplicate of MCPE-70344

I had something similar happen when I started changing the render distance and particle effect distance sliders together. I dropped from 60fps to 20, and CPU usage was from 5% to 60%.

One thing that I noticed that was interesting is when I used a brewing stand, you get the animated 'bubbles' that fill in to show the progress of the brewing, and those were really flickery, as if it was being updated multiple times to slightly different values. Like instead of it gradually filling in, it was filling in then flashing slightly lower, then higher, then lower... My hunch is that changing the settings was kicking off multiple rendering loops or something, so things were being updated multiple times... hard to explain. I only had it happen once, and I have to change render distance every time I load the world due to MCPE-80205 so I thought it might have been due to changing both the render distance and the particle distance together.

RTX Beta 1.15.0.9

+1. I came to report the same. RTX beta 1.15.0.9 as well. No matter what render distance you have set when you saved the world, when you load it, the render distance will be short. Opening the settings menu and changing the render distance slider will fix the issue and apply the render distance.

@Eyeth is correct, if you have mending armor equipped and it is fully healed, then any XP that would go to healing that armor goes to your level. It seems that the XP allocation is chosen among all mending items, whether they are fully healed or not. Not sure if that is intended or a bug. (confirmed same behavior in 1.15.0.9 RTX Beta)

Also broken in 1.15.0.9 RTX Beta.
When in a boat, 180 degrees of rotation works correctly, the other 180 degrees seems to read opposite/away from spawn.
