Nope. Not fixed. My users are reporting the same problem on our realm. One of them spent two hours working on a project last night, only to wake up this morning to find the world reverted.

VERY frustrating. It has gotten so bad I am looking for new server host.

Ok, now I just experienced this for myself. I was exploring and had almost completely explored the border of a fully zoomed map two days ago. I just logged in today and the map was empty and I was back where I was days ago. This is not acceptable.

It would seem that this is not truly fixed, unless there is a different issue. I have now had multiple people give me multiple reports within the last couple of week that they would log in only to find that their progress and work had reverted. Not sure how to troubleshoot this one.

@violine1101, simple or not, it is still a feature that I (and apparently many others) would like to have re-enabled.

@Carl Castillo, you know you can always click on the "Stop watching this issue" link. 😉

@violine1101, thank you for the response. I can now see how this relates to GDPR. Though the data may not be all that interesting, and most users probably will not care, the point of GDPR is that, for reasons of privacy, the users must provide explicit consent.

  • What would be involved it gaining explicit consent?

  • Would users need to provide consent each time they play on a Realm, or could they provide the consent just on the initial join to the Realm?

  • Would it work to add a checkbox next to the Realm in the Realm list? If they check the box, the "Play" button is activated and they can join the Realm and their admins can monitor their activity again.

Can you explain how this issue relates to GDPR?

Realms are invite only. My users all know that I am the admin. Consent to my seeing their playing history is implied when they join. If my users do not want me to know their playing history, they can certainly choose to leave my Realm. I am really not sure why this is an issue at all. Having the player history really helps when I need to do a restore and do not want to overwrite someones works.

It finally worked!! Not sure why, but I did the upload one more time and it completed without error.

What did I do? Probably nothing. I did open the world in Single Player again moved around just so I could see if the realm had the same change after the upload. But that was probably just coincidental.

This is happening for me. Have tried uploading multiple times. Still getting the error: "Verifying your world - 100% - Upload failed (-1)"
