simply go into the command block and set the wither to level 1 and it will still work, PS in most occasions where en entity is in the air they will receive random upward velocity during death and sometimes simply just taking damage.
It's not required to use a level of wither equal to 100, you can even use level 1 and it will still work, sorry I was copying the commands and forgot to set the level of wither to 1.
the command with the wither command block was set to wither 100 so you could see every time you have a velocity with an upward motion and take damage you all be launched if you set the wither to a lower level it will happen less frequently as you have to time the jumps and when you take damage, but the basics of this bug is that players and entities get upward velocity in their motion tag when they take damage with some sort of motion that's mid-air.
Note you must be in gamemode 2, or 0 for this effect to take place.
I apologize for not being able to explain it will and will simply post a world download, also note I have found other instances where people or entities are taking damage and they will be launched upward as well other then in just this situation.
I realized it requires a high level of jump boost as well for it to work, originally thinking it was a coincidence.
I am unable to find any other bug that has this swell but if another has already been posted I apologize.
The snapshot for today isn't out yet so I don't know about that but it's still effecting the latest 14w27b.
You should probably edit this and put more information like how the scoreboards you ou under the nametag doesn't seem to appear for entities, putting health, a kill score or any type of score for that matter won't appear under the persons or entities name tags.
changes its "team" color.

changes its test color.
As you can see in a previous comment I made I said
"the command with the wither command block was set to wither 100 so you could see every time you have a velocity with an upward motion and take damage you all be launched if you set the wither to a lower level it will happen less frequently as you have to time the jumps and when you take damage, but the basics of this bug is that players and entities get upward velocity in their motion tag when they take damage with some sort of motion that's mid-air." notice half way through and towards the end I said "if you set the wither to a lower level it will happen less frequently as you have to time the jumps and when you take damage, but the basics of this bug is that players and entities get upward velocity in their motion tag when they take damage with some sort of motion that's mid-air." I said it doesn't require a higher level and can be set to a lower level.
