Upon delivery entities and players in a team, it seems that the entities (other than players) do not have a team because they are invisible when splashing invisibility potion even if seeFriendlyInvisibles true . They also focus player and hurt them (for monsters), although FriendlyFire is set to false. Players can also hit the monsters in their teams.

The snapshot for today isn't out yet so I don't know about that but it's still effecting the latest 14w27b.
Still an issue in 14w34d
it would be very convenient if this were to work as expected
I would assume team dynamics would automatically be applied to anything that happens to be on a team, isn't that the basis of how object oriented programming works? it's fairly unfortunate and unexpected that this isn't the case.
Why certain things like the "scoreboard teamkill" works with mobs and others no, there are so many inconsistencies with things related with mobs and teams...
In what world is having this be 'intended' was a good idea? Mojang does this TOO often. Make it easier for map makers not harder. This should be opened back up. Ridiculous...
Requesting this to be reviewed.
Mobs hitting each other intentionally on teams are considered valid bugs and got fixed/triaged: MC-172304 (fixed), MC-95782 (tiaged), MC-225908 (triaged), MC-225907 (triaged), MC-150820 (triaged), MC-141401 (triaged).
When reviewed and reopened, this report should be reduced to just "mobs on teams with friendly fire set to false can still hit teammates accidentally"; the invisibility thing was fixed a long time ago, and most duplicates are about friendly fire.
There are elements of team rules which monsters respect. IT would be more useful or us to know what aspects of team rules are broken with mobs, instead of one general bug. Thanks.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w20b / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
