Actually, this is because you no longer spawn directly at the spawn point, but rather at a random point in like a 5-10 block radius at y=64, so on a void map this will usually land you right in the void. I certainly hope they change the spawning back to how it used to be. Also makes it so you can't set the spawn point underground easily.
Cannot reproduce, could you at least give how many blocks tall the 2 towers are?
This does not duplicate those issues, those issues are rare occurances, this happens every single time in the snapshot. How do I reopen this issue?
I didn't have the snapshot selected, that's it. Just 1.5.
I did do a search, but nothing came up. Strange.
I don't understand what this means by "resolved." Does that mean something was changed? Or does it mean that it has been established that this is intended behavior? I would really not like to have this "fix" implemented.
It would be awesome if they fixed this, I really dislike this bug.
It happens whenever you go from a block less than full height to another that is also less than full height, but taller than the first. It's existed for a while now.
Please do not change this, this is a great tool for hidden chests and adventure maps.
This was fixed in the latest snapshot when they made stairs no longer break sprinting, I believe.
