To clarify for anyone else viewing comments, user XCraftYTLinc is incorrect.

The behavior of the game is that multiplayer settings for Microsoft only apply to players joining as cross-platform friends, just as PlayStation®Network settings only apply to players joining through PSN. This is why the settings for each are separated.

The bug reported here is that you cannot currently set your world to "Invited users" for PSN friends through the new create/edit world screens. This makes your world always open to all of your PSN friends unless you entirely disable multiplayer, which isn't ideal.

Issue is still present in latest full release in preview version. It is also present in the new world edit screen.

This isn't a duplicate, look at the video...

This also happens to me on PS4 only, it seems. I fixed it by re-saving the character on another platform and switching back to PS4. It's only a temporary fix, but I am glad to be able to use achievement-unlocked character pieces, even if it requires me to re-save it every launch.

The only way it was fixed was by me just waiting. I can now login now, but you may need to delete Minecraft and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, Idk what else to suggest.

I've noticed this to. What platform are you on? I can still use color codes on the Android version, but I can't on PS4. For now, you'll have to use another platform.
